PARTS OF THE SKATE

Quad Skate
  1. Skate Boot
  2. Toe Stop - You can actually remove the toe stops from most quad skates and replace them with what is called “plugs”.
  3. Skate Wheels - You can remove and replace the wheels on most skates depending if you want to skate indoors or outdoors or if you just want a different type of wheel.
  4. Bearings - The bearings help the wheels move freely on the skate. Generally, the higher “rated” the bearing the better the bearing.
  5. Plate (or sometimes referred to as a chassis)
  6. Cushions
  7. Trucks
  8. Lace Strap (some skates have a lace cover)
